Kanato had been expecting his visage in the mirror. Ugh…once again Subaru…it’s odd having a sudden detachment to yourself. He did appreciate Subaru’s strength, but it wasn’t necessary for his lifestyle. He wasn’t destructive like his brother…and he had to be in constant worry over his dear bear. He glanced down at Teddy. It was more than once when he underestimated his strength and nearly damaged his bear.

That fact, was a little depressing. Knowing how easily you could break your precious things.

Ah? A visitor? Oh, it’s sweet little Ren again… She had been trying so hard lately. Always bringing snacks and treats and everything.

How cute she looked today, a small smile came to his lips as he admired the lady. He wanted to play with the curls in her hair a little. Ren was also wearing his favorite dress! That was so cute, he couldn’t help but chuckle a little.

Ren, you really are the light in this dreary situation.

Wait, are these?

“Thank you!” Kanato beamed as he took one of the cookies. He admired the finely crafted dessert. It looked really tasty! He eagerly took a bite and they were delicious too. He glanced over at Ren and gently pet her hair. “…my Ren, you really are a perfect doll…”

She sighed in relied, and then smiled. Even her eyes sparkled a little from joy.

“D-do you like them?? I’m glad… I’m so worried about you, I don’t know what else to do to cheer you up…” - she flushed when Kanato pet her hair.

It was weird. She was used to his real body, Subaru’s body was really different, and everytime he touched her, she had to look at his eyes to make sure he was there…Even his voice sounded so different… 

Probably, he didn’t notice it, but this situation was also difficult for her. When the person you love has problems and you can’t help him at all.. 

“I’m happy you like my cookies, please eat as much as you can… you haven’t eat at all since the incident. I’m really worried… what if you get sick…? Who is going to look after Teddy? “-. she noticed how her eyes were getting watery from the thought of him suffering. She touched his hand.
